CONCERNING PAINTINGS & MATERIALS
All works are original paintings, hand-painted on a variety of surfaces, including canvas, wood, plastic, and metal.
The typical materials that I use in the majority of my paintings are linen or cotton canvas substrate, stretched over wood, gessoed, and painted with high-quality acrylics. I often use other mark-making materials, including art-grade spray paint, oil paints, pastels, found objects, colored pencils, inks, and watercolor to add texture and color effects.
All paintings are finished with an isolation layer and varnished with a gloss or semi-gloss surface in order to ensure the best possible conservation of image.
